In AutoCAD 2009, whenever I type the XREF command in the command line it brings up the classic xref manger. I want to use the new 2009 xref manager. Does anyone know how to change it so that the default xref manager is not the classic. BTW the xref button or palette is also defaulting to classic. I can not use the new xref manager at all in 2009. Can anyone help me?

This is somewhat of a disappointment for users with 2009. According to some of the blogs, the bug has been logged with the development team as a change request and is scheduled to be included in service pack 1. Until that service pack is issued you can use the "ClassicXref" command to run the Xref Manager.

Thanks for the response. I guess I will have to keep checking on the delivery date for the service pack. Very annoying!
