 Is there a function similar to getfiled that I can use to multi-select drawings or files in a folder?

 You can try mgetfild.lsp which can be downloaded from http://freecadapps.mcadcafe.com.
In the search window type in "mgetfild.zip", and in the second search window select "File Name" as the search type.
It requires DosLib Version 2.0 or higher.
