I agreed to a challenge by Terry and JPS to finish writing a tic-tac-toe game that I started a long while back. I have to give thanks to a few engineers that I work with for their tips and suggestions. It still needs a few error checks, but it’s about as complete as I can get it. Everyone is welcome to revise it to make it better. Most of all have fun playing it. And if you get caught playing it at work, just tell them that you are designing a table of information and you are trying to get the text justifications right.
Cheers,
Flynn
Note to Terry and JPS:
Well, I finally finished it! It's really cool with this neat touch screen feature. It requires a lot a Windex though. If the touch screen feature is not working properly on your computer, it's probably just a user error. So you might have to resort back to using your mouse instead.
So that's what you and Felix were up to over the past couple of weeks. We all thought it was something really important. My only comments would be to declare your local variables and also check to see if the user picked point p1 before asking for point p2.
Nice version of the game.
Far out! I finally found a game that I can beat the computer about 50% of the time. You know what would really be cool, is if you would show the scores after each game.
Sorry about that! I should have included the DTR function. It's also found in the "Useful AutoLISP functions" under the "AutoLISP and Visual LISP" forum. I'll try and see if I can work on the game a little more this weekend to included the request so far.
Thanks for your input.
